Troubleshooting

The three things people ask about most

Signing in

Accounts are confirmed by email — if you have just signed up, complete the confirmation first, checking spam or quarantine. Passwords reset from the sign-in screen. If you belong to more than one firm, check the right firm is selected after signing in.

Sync

Check both devices are online and signed into the same account, confirm both are in the same firm, and leave the app open briefly — sync runs after changes rather than on demand. Not everything syncs, and what does not is documented.

Subscriptions

Beagle Pro is $39.99 monthly or $399.99 yearly, sold and billed by Apple. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings — deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. If one lapses, Beagle switches to export-only mode rather than locking you out.

If sync says the device holds data for a different firm, stop and read the documentation before changing anything. Moving a device between firms has to be done in the right order or unsynced work can be lost.

Account

Deleting your account

You can delete your account in the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. Beagle asks you to confirm, removes your firm memberships, unlinks your data, and clears your credentials from the device. The same option is on iPhone in Settings.

Records that belong to a firm — matters, time entries, invoices and similar business records — stay with the firm, because they are the firm’s records. If you are a firm’s sole owner you will be asked to transfer ownership or delete the firm first.
