Restore Purchases asks Apple what you already own and reapplies it to this copy of Beagle. It is the right action when you have paid but Beagle is not showing the access.
#When you need it
- You reinstalled Beagle, or set up a new Mac.
- The purchase went through but access has not appeared.
- Your licence looks wrong on one device while another is fine.
Restoring never charges you again. It re-reads an existing App Store purchase.
#Restore it
- Open Settings.
- Find Your License.
- Choose Restore Purchases. The button reads Restoring… while it works, then reports what it found.
Refresh Access sits alongside it and re-checks entitlement without going back to the App Store — worth trying first if the purchase is recent and simply has not propagated.
#If restoring does not help
- "Restore is unavailable until Beagle is connected to its licensing service." — Beagle could not reach the service. Check your connection and try again; this is not a problem with your purchase.
- A purchase that succeeded but has not been verified — Beagle says your payment is safe and asks you to use Retry Verification or Restore Purchases. No repurchase is needed, and buying again would be a second charge for the same thing.
- Restoring only finds purchases made with the Apple Account that bought Beagle. If your Mac is signed into a different Apple Account, switch to the right one and restore again.
#If access still does not appear
Each member licenses their own account — one member's licence does not cover the others in a firm. If your firm bought several, confirm your own account is the one carrying the purchase before treating it as a fault.
