Deleting your account removes your access to Beagle. It is deliberate, confirmed, and not reversible by you afterwards.
#Before you delete
- Cancel your subscription separately. Deleting the account does not cancel an Apple subscription — that is managed in your Apple Account, and deleting the app or the account will not stop the billing.
- Take anything you want to keep first. Export what you need while you still have access.
- If you are a firm's only active owner, Beagle will refuse: "You are the only active owner of a firm. Transfer ownership to another active member, or close the firm, before deleting your account." This protects the firm's records from being orphaned by one person leaving.
#Delete the account
- Open Settings.
- Find the account deletion control.
- Type DELETE in the confirmation field. The confirm button stays inert until the word matches exactly — a deliberate speed bump, not a formality.
- Confirm.

#What is kept, and why
Your firm's business records belong to the firm, not to your personal account. Deleting your account removes you; it does not delete the firm's matters, time and invoices, which other members still rely on and which the firm may be required to retain.
#If deletion fails
If Beagle reports that you are not signed in, sign in and try again — deletion acts on the signed-in account and cannot be performed anonymously.
