#I cannot sign in
- Check the email address for a stray space.
- Use Forgot password? to reset rather than retrying repeatedly.
- If Beagle says account creation is unavailable, that is a firm setting — your administrator creates the account. See Sign in to Beagle.
- If it says it could not reach the server, the problem is the connection, not your credentials.
#My data is not on my other device
First, check that sync is actually running: it needs a configured backend, a signed-in account with a firm selected, and a completed backfill. Without those, the device works locally.
Then check whether the record is one that syncs at all. Report snapshots, settlement and damages calculations, workspace packs and Context Library items never leave the device they were made on, and drafts, Matter Intelligence results and OCR text sync their metadata but keep their content local. See What syncs between your devices.
Also check you are in the right firm. Records belong to one firm and Beagle shows only the firm you have open.
#Before you conclude data is lost
Data in Beagle lives on your Mac. A device that cannot sync has not lost anything — it is not sending it anywhere. Take a backup before troubleshooting further, so that whatever state you are in is preserved.
#Something else is not behaving
Problems with records, invoices, payments, documents and imports are covered in Troubleshooting records, invoices and imports, which needs you to be signed in.
